I am not sure why this flavor ends up being more expensive than the other two. I do know that the cost to ship this product is high, because it does need to stay refrigerated at all times. As I mentioned in my other reviews, the product itself is great. You can't beat 100 billion active probiotic cultures per serving- hands down. However, this does not explain the pricing for this flavor as opposed to the other two. Even in stores I've never seen a difference in price per flavor. This is why I gave it a 4 star review. Regardless, if you have stomach issues, a low immune system or just want to try out the benefits of probiotics, this product is far superior to 99 percent of the others on the market. So what if you spend a few extra bucks? I've been using this for myself and my family for years and hands down, it's the best. Love the new look, I called the company, NOTHING has changed, except the label, because they wanted a new look, and yep, new one is way prettier, and there are some weird calorie changes, but that's due to an FDA labeling rules changing, not the product changing. Their customer service is great, I had to leave a message, but the Co-Founder of the company called me back and addressed all my concerns. This is a really cool company, they donate money to charities every month. I feel good about this company even more now!!! I have a swig of this everyday. It's fizzy and slightly sweet. When I first started taking it I thought of it as medicine. Now I think of it as a treat! I think tropical is the best flavor.Word of caution: do not try to open a bottle when you get it. Let it rest for a day, then gentle open the cap a tiny bit while holding the bottle over the sink. If it starts to foam up a lot screw the cap on and let it rest again for a few hours.
