The dress is very light weight (kind of like a thin linen) and could be see through on bottom when the light hits it just right. I plan on wearing black spanx shorts with it to work mainly because when you sit the buttons can spread and could easily leave you with a gaping hole in the wrong area. I’d rather be covered than have to worry about it all day. 5’7 175 and the large fit great. Lands just above the knee.
