I cannot emphasize just how useful and well made this product is. Original review: I bought two of these….a small & large and I highly recommend this product. The small is for my 23lb Grt Pyrenees pup. It’s perfect, size, comfort, durability and usefulness. The large is for a 109lb, bouncy, lizard chasing, playful, 3yr old Grt Pyrenees. After 5 months of constant use the inner mechanism still feels fresh, works perfectly and externally nothing is worn or rusty….not even the rubberized handle lining or the chrome plated clamp. In short the Tug 360 is well conceived, well made, practical, comfortable, durable and weather proof. It easily handles the heft of my 109lb Grt Pyrenees lunging, pulling, surprise lunges, playfulness etc.. There is a caveat to tape leashes….ur baby can chew through them. This is the downside to all retractable/tape leashes. It’s not a manufacturing fault. Think of tape leashes like u would a ribbon on a present, it’s pretty much impossible to tear unless u have a pair of scissors. Now swap out the scissors for a puppy ; ).
