I was literally floored that these worked out perfectly for my needs and brought to mind even more uses. I’I used some lowly Ray-O-vac rechargeables which don’t hold a charge very long and the lights started dimming after 48 str8 hrs. Now I’m using Energizer rechargeables and a very inexpensive timer. I wondered if the lights would be too bright to sleep under but as bright as they are my wife and I didn’t even notice and we slept like bears in winter. Using them 4 lighting around my Recording Korner for late night composing gives it a magical starry effect. Definitely needs a couple of more strands of lights and I got them today. The light seems more candescent like a candle than LED. These will work great sewn into clothing! Wrap it around a musical instrument! Solder an audio cable to both ends see if a guitar signal passes into your amp! Caution unwind very very slowly or it will tangle. I did out of excitement but I was able to slowly undo the crimps and snags.
