Works great, and you can take them off to wash when ever you need to. You can also take them to an upholstery shop and have a vinyl cover made that is a permanent cover. That’s what I did for pillow I gave a friend. **Q: Can I buy an extra cover for this item?** A: I returned this item found it too big **Q: The cover said it's "made from poly cotton". But to me, the cover is made from slippery plastic. What's going on?** A: I ordered mine 8" (7"?) on October 24, 2022 and received slippery plastic, no way of cotton. Very poor quality case. **Q: What is the slope degree?** A: It's not an 8" height. It's a 7" height, so you might be confused.
