My flat screen TV had flat/tinny sound. This sound bar has enhanced it to an amazing level. I only use it in my bedroom TV and it's perfect. If you want big, booming theater type sound, this isn't what you're looking for, but if you want deeper, clearer sound than your TV provides, this thing does a great job, especially when listening to music. We no longer need to have the TV volume blasted on high so I can hear it. I just bring this speaker bar to the side of the room where I'm sitting and place it behind my head. It is crystal clear, I can hear the voices and sounds perfectly. There is zero distortion.Since it's portable and easy to pair, I can bring it to the bedroom when I'm watching TV, I just place the sound bar on my headboard. It's beautiful. The kids don't complain that they can't fall asleep because my TV is too loud.It's especially great in the bedroom because I wear glasses and I don't have to lay in bed with my glasses on to read the closed captions. Since i could combine all in one stand decided to use it as default and send amp and speakers back. Only complaint is the remote doesn't have very good range for this.
