You will not feel bad if you loose it fishing. lock is marginal, should hold up to light use. Can open single handed. decent clip. is this a $100.00 or $300 dollar knife? Nope, you will however find it worlds better than those gun show junk blades for $35.00. Overall a good value with a decent, easily sharpened blade. if you want something for hard use the cold steel recon- lock,blade thickness and heft is worlds better. keep in mind this is a inexpensive knife that will cut rope, seatbelts, boxes, and not hurt your feelings if lost. You will not punch it thru a car door or use it as a hammer/chisel.
