Indeed - not amendable for now.Yet, Sturdy and indeed very beautiful. an edge for this pole is that it is definitely on the light side compared to other metal trekking poles. Satisfied.I do know there are going to be extension parts manufactured very soon for this item, so there will be an option of amendability to at least another 21 CM for each extension. i.e. - from 133 CM for each extension added as an option and more. This feature of extension design is usual for other such items, sold on the market. The current 122CM is usable. perfect for around 170 CM height.I assume that product evolution will follow suit and beauty as well as function will prevail.I love this one.In sum:Given the changes on the horizon with this beautiful and sturdy trekking pole - I do advise to take this pole seriously and contemplate purchase positively.It is worth it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not Exactly What I Ordered *by K***Y on January 11, 2020* I received something a little different than what I ordered. For one, I one ordered was supposed to come with a full rubber cap on the end. What I received just has a metal pointy tip. I contacted the seller and I was told that I received a “newer” model, and if I wanted the full rubber cap, they would send it to me. It’s been a couple months and still no rubber tip/cap.Also, my “new” model included a knife hidden inside the walking stick. If you live in California, please be aware that having a knife or sword hidden inside a cane or walking stick is a felony. Check it out.The walking stick is sturdy and lightweight but not suitable for what I wanted. I do boulder hopping type hikes and the pointy metal tip just slides on the boulders, this is where the rubber tip comes in. It grips much better on hard surfaces. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great looking walking stick. Definitely worth the price *by A***S on May 27, 2019* 44" long once fully assembled. Very easy to put together. Very nice design. Looks just like the pictures.It came a bit banged up (as you can see by the pictures, but the scratches are barely visible. It has a compass on the top, but it came with a big air bubble so it doesn't move freely enough to give reliable directions.
