Long enough to square up pork bellies for bacon in one cut.Excellent for large thick cuts of meat. I guess that is why it is called a butcher's steak knife.I was thinking of getting the 14" blade, but I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find a case that it would fit in.The Fibrox handle is excellent for slip resistance, and the blade is well balanced and not too heavy as to cause fatigue.Holds it's edge very well.
