No joke. I tried on two different styles: Full Length and Capri.I love the way these fit me. I love the fabric, the quality, and the price. They are slightly longer than the other capri swim pants I tried on. They give support, which is SO important for a plus sized girl like me (I wear 1x-2x, or 18-20). There's no jiggle and no lumpiness. They are comfortable. The weight is fine for wearing nothing underneath them. I own several of the short pants and several of the full length. The full length are 4 inches too long...I wear them puddled..so I had hoped the Capri length would also run long and would therefore be ankle length on a 5'3" woman. It didn't work out. They are Capri length. The size has some flexibility depending on preference, except that the waist on all their pants is very small. I prefer the XXXL for a size 16/18 pant in order to get a bit more ease in the waist. I have some XXL and some XXXL. I would not wear anything smaller because the waist would be too small and the fabric would be very stretched to thinness and seem sheer. Very happy with his brand. Great quality fabric! Side seams lay flat and are not distracting.
