I received this cookbook today, and randomly chose a recipe to make. It was Pumpkin Spiced Popcorn on page 56. As I read through the ingredient list, the SEVEN cups of corn kernels jumped out at me. 7 cups? This is a recipe for 4 servings. I don't believe that 7 cups of popcorn kernels is even possible in the Instant Pot. So, ok, a mistake was made in the recipe. I decided to look at another one. I turned the page to page 58, and looked at Curried Vegetable and Bean Pilaf. And while the recipe looks yummy, there is no beans in it. How can you make a Bean Pilaf without including beans? There is rice however. So this Bean Pilaf is actually a Rice Pilaf. Then I decided to just go to the table of content, and see what recipes the book has, instead of just thumbing through it. But, the table of content couldn't help me with this, because it simply tells you what each chapter is about. Chapter 4 - Breakfast & Lunch. Chapter 5 - Starters & Snacks. A bit frustrating that I will have to search through the book, page by page to know what recipes it holds. However, even with all this, (and who knows, I might find even more ingredient mistakes as I read through it), I will be keeping this cookbook because the recipes that I have read look tasty.
