**Q: Dimensions of large opening please?**
A: I used mine for cattle feed, but I haven't had it in my hand for 2 years. I'm sorry but I can't give you a measurement until tomorrow

**Q: is the top portion of the funnel flexible so that I can fit it in-between 2 tanks while I am filling the one tank?**
A: The funnel is made out of semi-rigid plastic that will resume its shape if you squeeze it to fit between two tanks. I checked the one I have and it's about 7 3/4 inch wide at the top opening of the funnel.  The funnel can be distorted to ~ 6 inches in width if you are trying to get it into a space that wide.  Anything tighter than that risks cracking and damaging the funnel permanently. 
I think use of a heat gun would allow you to more permanently narrow the width of the funnel but this will take it out of round.

**Q: What is the thread type/style?**
A: Wide thread, fits a 55 gallon drum

**Q: Is this food safe?**
A: Unknown about food safe but it you have soap and hot water, I dont see why not.

Nice solid funnel large enough to pour oil from a pan into it without spilling. It’s great that the threaded end can be changed! I modified it to fit a 3/4in Hedpack 5 gallon container and it works perfectly. With a PVC 1” to 3/4” adapter and a 3/4” nipple it is totally solid. I was able to fill the funnel to the top without any wobble or fear it might break. I even managed to force a garden hose filter into the bottom end which was difficult since I had to cut the lid to open the spout and then rethread that end to accept it, but it worked. I also ordered a couple extra lids so I have one to close it air tight and another in case I want to modify it differently. Overall it’s exactly what I needed.
