The Osmo bracket is plastic but by no means flimsy. The assembly is simple as phone holder > Osmo Bracket > ¼ 20 adapter (included in package) > tripod.Done. You now have a stand, mount, and handle for your Osmo Pocket. There is a cold shoe on top of the phone holder and another ¼-20 on the back of it. A simple cold shoe adapter like the Ulanzi 3 way allows for a light and mic and you've got a full rig for a ridiculously good price.After looking at other phone mount/camera holders I decided to go cheap as a hold over but ended up getting the one I will be sticking with. Can't believe the use of materials at this price.GET IT ### ⭐⭐⭐ Does not fit well with a phone case *by R***Y on Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2019* Took a few minutes of messing with the tripod and the hold adapter. With my thinnest case I could not get it to seat properly into the phone holder AND plug into my Osmo pocket. I took off the case and it lined up a little better. Nice aluminum tripod, but I do not think the phone holder is aluminum as advertised and the Osmo holder is plastic. Some may not like the weight but it helps with handling when shooting videos with the Osmo pocket.
