Each can is 33oz, so there is overfill.The pancake recipe says that each cup of mix makes 5-6 plate sized pancakes, what size plate they don't say, but ours are @5" pancakes and we get 5 per batch. Mathematically,that would make a serving size of 1.25 pancake PER SERVING. ONE CUP PANCAKE MIX YIELDS 5 PANCAKES, 33/8 => 4 CUPS PER CAN = 20 PANCAKESYou can make pancakes or waffles with this mix(we get three big belgian waffles per double recipe). The pancakes use buttermilk, while the waffles use water.
