My father loved this book. It asks them questions or prompts them to remember things and events growing up. Then they write down what they remember. I look forward to the day I when I can read his book when he finishes it. He said it was a great gift! If you are looking for that one thing your parent doesn't have, I recommend this journal. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally, the perfect book for my father! *by A***R on September 2, 2019* There are limited options for an outstanding dad keepsake journal on amazon (or other places). I bought a couple other books like this one for my dad on amazon, but the quality was extremely low causing me major disappointment and being forced to return them. If you’re like me, you want to have the perfect memory of your father. Finally, I decided to buy this one despite the lack of reviews and it being published just recently. This book is a great quality. It’s so durable both inside and out. I know this book will last me a very long time. The questions are great! You have front and back of a page to write a response. That should be more than enough to get the stories flowing. It’s not specific to any era of dad, so you can get this for younger fathers like my dad as well as older generation fathers. Some questions are silly kinda pointless but fun. Example: what was your favorite birthday cake or have you ever met anybody famous, but 95% of the book are deep, meaningful questions. Example, what do you believe happens after life, what are the high/low points in your marriage-how did you get through them, who was your first love, anything you wish you said to your kids, etc. My father is suffering from addiction and our relationship has went from best friends to non existent in the past two years. He is currently getting help and I can’t wait for him to work on this book. It’s going to be a great thing to have for myself, our family, my future children, and bonus I know it will help with his recovery. If you’re thinking about buying this book, please do. You will not be disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best gift ever! *by M***F on January 11, 2023* I got this for my 83-year-old dad for Christmas. He likes to write and has even authored a few books. A friend mentioned that she was getting her mom one of these kind of journals, and I knew it would be something he would enjoy. Sure enough, he has gone out of his way multiple times to let me know how much he is enjoying working on it. He says it is thought-provoking and sometimes emotional going through some of it. I'm sure there are things that won't pertain to him, but I know this is going to be something that I enjoy reading when he is finished.
