For those of us into D&D, the waterdeeples are a nice extravagance to make it feel more adventure-y. I got them as a Christmas gift to myself, and could not wait til we could play in person again and use them. I have finally gotten to do that now and they were fun. (They do not, however, help win the game. :-()They are a bit bigger than the cubes and so take up a bit more room on the mats, but also make them easier to pick up and handle.
