Looked at many youtube videos as well as through the mfg companies website, but there was literally nothing that was close enough to this design to be of any help. FInally, I ended up feeding dough through my manually pushing the mechanism, which was extremely difficult and something I will never attempt again. They do include instructions but they are completely confusing and therefore useless. It could be something to do with a language translation as I believe the mfg company is in Brazil, but that should not be an excuse.
