It seems well built and has big rubbery tires. Feels solid and durable. Very easy to start right out of the box....after charging the batteries, of course. We played with it, put it away and pulled it out the next day...batteries still good and are still charged days later. The car will hit the wall, run up, flip over and keep going. It may be a little hard for a really young child to control the steering but very easy other than that and still a lot of fun, even for the big kids! Haven't had this for very long yet but I can see this lasting a long time and providing tons of funs!!
