It was $8.49 then and $11 now. During a visit today (May 2019), he told me he needed a new one because his phone wouldn't hold a charge again. Knowing him, it's probably been doing this for a while and he is just now brining it up. So I'd say he was satisfied with it for approximately 3 years before a replacement was needed. So for $8.50, it was worth the purchase. In my perfect world, we'd just get him a new phone, but at 80 years old, he's a curmudgeon about technology and insists he'd rather keep his "dumb phone" instead of get a smart phone. Went to Verizon and they wanted $50 for one....uhm..NO... Got on here and saw this for so cheap & decided to give it a try. It matches my phone and looks just like the old battery. It seems to work like the old battery did when it was new. I am pleased so far. The only thing is that it fell out of my phone one time when I dropped it in my car. The other battery had never fallen out like that. The battery doesn't seem too loose, and It's only happened once, so I think it may have just been because it didnt lock in all the way. I can't be for certain. However, I would definately recommend this to those in need of a new battery without spending too much for it! Surprisingly, you wind up getting a new back for your phone. If you've got a red phone (I do), this one's for you. Evidently the battery is part of the back that you replace.
