I was intrigued that the game had bean bags instead of heavy balls like the bocce set we already owned. I was pleasantly surprised when we received it. There were 9 beautiful and well crafted hacky sack balls. The colors were bright and vibrant and the balls were sturdy and well made.I liked this better than a traditional bocce ball set because it was functional for our entire family. I have kids ranging in age from 3-13 and when we play with our set with heavy balls, it is very difficult for my three year old to throw them. Furthermore, if they bounce on a sprinkler, street, curb or sidewalk they get chipped and damaged. With this hacky sack version, you don't run into that problem. You can basically throw them anywhere and they will not get damaged. Furthermore, the game was a hit with our entire family because my three year old could throw them as easily as the rest of us.My 13 year old son's favorite part about this game was that it can by played anywhere - outside on the grass, the sidewalk, the beach (we live in Hawaii) or IN THE HOUSE! In the house bocce ball play is a game changer!I also saw my family playing with these beanbags even when we weren't playing bocce ball. My husband was walking around juggling them, my 3 year old was shooting hoops with them, and the rest of us were trying our luck at hacky sack.I would definitely recommend this game for its versatility.
