Well eventually the ear pads started disintegrating. I wanted to keep my headphones but also not pay what Sennheiser was asking for their replacement ear pads. So I went with the Vever at a much more affordable price point. Replacing the pads is challenging. It takes quite a bit of stretching to get them to fit over the ear piece. Eventually, I used a small Jewelers screw driver to help slide them around. Once on, they're fine.
