They feel solid and the base is strong. You must install in an area you can access the back side due to the c-pin design.I am very happy with these. Time will tell about how the finish holds up. I feel they are worth the cost and so useful. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Cannot install without disassembly and access to the under side. *by J***R on May 29, 2025* Nice sized fender bracket/hanger and good polish. There are a few rough edges that should be filed smooth to prevent the fender rope from being frayed. There were two issues i had with this item. 1. no hardware was included. I went back to the description, and to be fair, it doesn't say it included hardware. 2. The item can onbly be installed by disassembling the "e" clip and spring from the bottom side. You can only install this if you have access to the under side. You would have to remove the "e" clip and spring, then withdraw the plunger so you could install the mounting screws ( not included). Then you would have to reinsert the plunger and reattach the spring and "e" clip retainer from the under side.
