I think that might be due to operator error. I saw the picture of the lid that was pushed in and was rippled around the edges. Of course it wouldn’t hold a suction. Don’t push them hard. Gently press just a little they will suction if handled properly. At least mine do. It may take a little practice to get the pressure but it’s worth it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Worked great, careful when using with hot liquids though *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2021* These worked absolutely perfectly for coverings during cooking/microwaving, and pretty well for storage (depended on the difference in the lid and container size, use a bigger lid so there is plenty of overhang). The only thing I would fault is they need a warning when using on hot liquids. These get sucked on to the container very easily do to the temperature difference causing pressure. When opening that tight suction on on a container with hot liquid (soup in the microwave, sauce on the stove, etc) it is very easy for that liquid to splatter right up at you!!
