Multi Connect 2) You can have 2 connected devices at anyone time. So just to paraphrase, you can have eight devices which is memorised in the headphones and can be easily pulled up to swap out and change with the two connected devices. It has the latest Bluetooth 5 but has its limitations like any tech however is still a vast improvement because past iterations have been limited to one device. It has six supported Bluetooth profiles, one of which is (A2DP v 1.3) so if the product you are connecting to supports any of these six profiles you will get a superior Bluetooth connection. The market is still fragmented concerning the universally accepted common application at this time much like wireless charging was, it used to take a massive brand like Apple to adopt it then others followed suit, however, when Apple decided to dismiss the 3.5mm headphone jack not all the other brands went on board the last time, so kudos to Jarba for giving the consumer every available Bluetooth choice to cover their bases, i have used (A2DP v 1.3) and it gives a very low latency high resolution stream, there is another if I can recall correctly (AVRCP v 1.6) plus then the remaining four, and as far as my knowledge stretches you will not find any Bluetooth products on the market at the moment that can connect more than two devices at once, personally i was very surprised when the technology reached to two, however, the multi-connect is a sort of work-around on the Bluetooth limitation by easily being able to swap out devices with a few touches. You are also given a two year warranty which is double the industry standard so Jarba must have a lot of confidence in their new product, and as they have covered each and every internal part with a coating against water and dust ingress and as far as I'm aware this is a first. Headphones do take a lot of punishment over their lifetime so for a manufacturer to add this coating as a feature is excellent and i hope others will follow this example, for this reason alone that people are spending so much money on tech like this one wants them to last more than a twelve month period now, just like the phones which the top level product lines which have gotten water and dust ingress protection for the last several years. I would say that these are an excellent purchase if only for the feature of connecting multiple devices if that's your main desire, i would purchase these in an instant myself if i could afford them as Jarba are a solid brand. PS, do you know where the name Bluetooth came from? It was actually the name of a viking, serious! Don't ask me the why though, maybe it just sounded good, who knows? Hope that will be fixed with future software updates. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Proven Durability for Under 200 *by T***S on 20 March 2022* Likes: they are very comfortable and feel solid even when put in a rumbling rucksack without the case. I fell off my skateboard with these on and they took a massive hit (probably saved my head too!) and they only have one deep scratch, perfect functionality. The sound quality* for me I had to tweak the eq both in Spotify and the manufacturers app, after listening for a few months the drivers have definitely loosened up a bit and sound better than when I first got them. Bass is controlled and warm. I’d say 7/10 bass intensity. The design is nice, just wish it was a little less bulky in places. Love the quick switching between ANC and hear through, super handy! Dislikes: The app can be confusing at first or when switching devices. I have to hold the reset button on the headphones, then forget device on my phone, and then turn Bluetooth on and off to make this work… a bit of a faff! Wish it had a higher quality audio codec, this would help the sound quality and bass if it was higher quality than it is. Buttons are a bit deep and clicky. You can feel yourself pushing them into your head sometimes. BATTERY LASTS FOR AGESSSSSSS. Charged twice in 4 months. Taken on multiple trips and commuting. Quick Pairing is amazing and the voice assistant is useful (this isn’t the same as Alexa or Siri) Overall: I’d say for the price: 7/10. If you can justify nearly £300 for Sonys than these are a nice more budget friendly midtier headphone. However, Sony XM3s are a similar price and are probably a better more solid choice.
