In comparison to another playmat I bought from amazon itself which was also more expensive, this one is thicker and therefore hasn't suffered a single tear. The foam is also thicker and the pictures more vibrant. Plz bear in mind though that it is only for kids who can atleast sit and crawl. Within 15 days the plastic coating got bubbles in it and then it had completely come off from the foam sheet, it claims to be leakproof and water resistance. But its really waste of money because it doesn't serves the job.
