I am debating on buying these or the x-sm versa gripp, any advice?** A: My wrists are 7 1/2 - 7 3/4 I got the med/large size. And it's perfect. A sm/med should fit you well. And these are 1/2 the cost of versa gripps and in my opinion just as good. Basically the same thing. And are from a well known brand. I have tried several different straps, hooks etc and these seem to work the best for me. **Q: Would these work well for pull-ups, allowing you to hang a little bit more from your wrist than just the hands?** A: Yes, I use them rolled outwards from the palms during my initial warm up and first few sets of pull-ups to protect my hands from the knurls on the pull-up bar too reduce calluses. I reverse and roll them towards my palms for grip and protect my hands during full reps/sets.
