It’s thick and sturdy, wood grain is really pretty. I keep it oiled up and it looks great. My only gripe is that it’s pretty soft wood. I’ve had it a couple weeks and there are a bunch of knife marks in it already! Wish it would have gone a little longer without getting so much “character.” The ax inlays also aren’t very visible.
