The Elizabethan Gentleman's Wardrobe Pattern

This is a pretty decent pattern set but I find myself flipping back and forth so many times to figure out what is needed. I also notice that a little bit of the instructions are missing as to what to add where. Over all its a great set of patterns and will work well if you are an advanced seamstress. Myself being in the middle range it takes a bit of work to get through the pattern set. Be ware that some of the patterns look to have been renumbered and this is not reflected in the booklet. You can figure it out, but it takes time.A nice addition book (for another price) might be one that shows actual trim and materials, but that in no way distracts from the value of this pattern set.

This is a great way to buy a complete mens outfit for the period. So many times just the doublet is available and what is needed is the whole outfit. Patterns of Time has always been a great source for costuming.
