I always bought cheap $20 digital watches for bad weather or environment days. Then I decided to buy this last year for work in general. Definitely within AR 670-1 with the green NATO strap. The gunmetal matte finish on the watch is hard to spot even on sunny days so it's definitely a must for military personnel. Watch never stopped, nor did it ever break so far other than a few cosmetic scratches here and there.
