There was also dirt on the bottom of the little feet underneath. Clearly used and not new. I’m a germophobe and that did not make me happySecond, it was advertised as white, yet it is silver. It’s a pretty scale but silver doesn’t work in my bathroom, which is why I ordered white. They only give you choice of black or white, but trust me, it’s silver. I just returned it and ordered a white one from another company. This one fit the bill, it uses standard c2032 batteries instead of big AAA. It turns itself off after a few seconds to save battery life.
