Have all the remotes near you that you want programmed. Insert the KEY into the ignition (Do NOT Turn), then Pull key out, and repeat. KEY: IN, OUT, IN, OUT Driver's door: CLOSE, OPEN, CLOSE, OPEN KEY: IN, OUT Driver's door: CLOSE, OPEN, CLOSE, OPEN, CLOSE! Key: IN! TURN key to ON (Don't start), then back to OFF KEY: OUT! So to be completely transparent, I never actually cut these keys. I bought them only for their keyless entry ability. The keys were very easy to program, and worked with my car flawlessly. The fact that these keys are so cheap, when the original are hundreds of dollars make these a must have. As far as durability goes, that is a hard one. The original key snapped, and Toyota told me that these kind of keys, even the ones that cost hundreds of dollars, snap easily because they are plastic inside. Well, if that is the cause, why not just buy this and replace it when needed?

My old key fob died and the buttons did not work. This was a perfect replacement for my car, a 2008 RAV4 Limited. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect fit for our 2008 Scion

These were exactly what we needed for our 2008 Scion xB. While we had plenty of spare keys, we never had an OEM unit and had grown used to manually locking and unlocking the doors. After cutting, the keys fit the doors and ignition perfectly, and programming the fobs took about 30 minutes. Now, we enjoy the convenience of remote locking and unlocking, along with the added ability to activate the panic alarm when needed. This option saved us over $200 and the hassle of spending hours at the dealership, not to mention avoiding the inconvenience of being without transportation. The buttons can be a bit sluggish at times, but overall, it’s a fantastic value. Highly recommended if you’re looking to create spares for your Scion!
