I mounted it on my catrike and went for a ride. My 35 pound Shiba Inu mix first ran so he was pulling forward then later tried to stop to look at something. The result was scratched paint on my very expensive trike. I may try mounting it on a bicycle this summer. If your dog may pull or try to stop suddenly it may not me safe. The bungee is a good idea, but, I don't think it is strong enough. I also like the idea of being able to detach it to use as a leash. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ As expected with a few flaws *by T***H on Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2020* It was fairly easy to install and has worked to keep my dogs next to me but its awkward and sticks out far when storing my bike.
