I use a plastic pen with a steel nib, and blotting/cleaning is just like any other ink. I've even found that it stains my skin less than some non-waterproof inks. **Q: is it in a glass or plastic bottle?** A: As of end-Sep 2015 it is in a plastic bottle that looks like the white one in the image. The owner of Noodler's has said that this is because glass supply has become unreliable in recent months. One good thing is that you actually get a bit more ink per bottle (despite them all being labelled 3oz) with the plastic ones, and better light protection! **Q: Lamy said my leak could be because of this ink. Any other Lamy owners experience this problem?** A: I've never had a leak in any of my Lamy pens, I use a Vista with noodlers in it at work, and I drop it constantly (it looks horrifying because of that) and aside from impact related ink splatter within the cap I have Never had a problem, I would suggest trying a different converter, or pull it apart and clean the feed, check for hair, or something wicking the ink out. **Q: Is this supposed to smell bad? mine smells so bad, i stopped using it. please let me know if this is normal~! thanks** A: There is a slight chemical odor present when smelled from the bottle; however once it is written on paper, it should off-gas pretty fast and not be noticeable at all. I find this ink to be of perfect consistency. I have a TWSBI that has been loaded with this ink for about 7 years and it is used daily with NO degradation of the nib. True PH balanced.
