I believed the discount may have been because it was an unpopular color. To my dismay, when I received the blanket it had a mildew smell as if it had been left in an old damp basement. It didn't feel or look clean and there was no "fluff" to the body of the blanket. I requested a refund. The seller approved the refund but never returned my money even after I followed their very specific return requirements that I had to pay for to return an inferior quality product. I had to make a claim and luckily for me Amazon stands by their members. It is well made and looks fantastic! It shipped much quicker than expected.You need to know that this is a loose fiber weave.
