I realized how valuable this kit really is! My design didn't include nice knobs, a painted a finish, or the price of my time to build it... After the hour of shopping I realized I would rather not bother, and bought this instead. The steel is quality and all crucial parts are externally coated with a quality paint. The knobs are HUGE for easy turning and the steel tubes are thick. This set could have been made with thinner, cheaper tubes, smaller knobs, fewer bolts, and left us disappointed; but it WASN'T and I'm very happy with the quality. The locking nuts for the adjustable rods even have two, rather than just one nut/bolt, so once you fit the kit, it will stay put, and be super solid. Once the wheels are chocked, the jacks are down, and you hand-tighten the two turnbuckles on the stabilizer system, you cannot rock the camper. I was amazed. The customer service was great. Okay to install?** A: Mine were angled as well. No issues at all installing them. My stabilizer jacks have solid round bases and I ended up using the 2 supplied landing pad feet. I may end up purchasing 2 more feet just to give the base of the jacks a little bigger footprint. I do highly recommend this system. It does not eliminate 100% of the shake but i would say it is 95% better. That said I have only camped on grass surfaces since installing. I will see if it gets closer to 100 percent shake free at the end of the month as I will be parked on a hard surface. **Q: Our fifth wheel is permanently parked, can we install this unit while the trailer is just sitting there?** A: Yes. It's pretty easy to install and works excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. We've been very happy with the purchase. We have a 38ft camper which use to have a lot of movement, not anymore. **Q: How many arms/braces come with the kit?** A: 2 on the front and 1 on the back. This kit is very effective. I highly recommend. **Q: will these work on hydraulic levelers. we have automatic leveler on our 5th wheel.** A: Yes they will work on hydraulic and electric landing gear type levelers, but you would want to select the kit that is for power leveling systems. The braces connect to the stock heavy duty round foot plates. You can either weld the heads of included bolts to the top of the footplate, bolt directly to Big Foot footplates, or use our optional bolt kit which includes flat head bolts and a countersink for the bottom of the hole so the flat head bolts will be even with the bottom of the footplate. We installed this on a 27' travel trailer ... *by A***R on November 10, 2016* Very well engineered product. Install was very straight forward, as the instructions are well documented and include many visual (picture) aids. Packing and shipping was very good. We installed this on a 27' travel trailer (Forest River Cherokee)that had a great deal of movement before. Just walking, even slowly could be felt while laying in your bed. After installation I found the front was very solid and had very little give when doing the push test against the outside of the rv. The back still has some movement, but I believe that can be improved by playing with the blocking on the feet and some adjustments. It may just be poor design of my particular trailer with the spacing/position of the jacks. I will say the owner is very helpful and responsive and was quick to reply to my emails to answer all of my questions and provide possible solutions.
