They started peeling a little (and it’s just my husband and I at home, moderate use). Also, if you buy the ivory color be prepared that dark clothes will stain it. I washed the covers today and the stain is still there...I have to be honest: I didn’t have a lot of expectations on this product. However I have to say: it is an amazing sofa cover that not only does the job but also gives a beautiful touch to the sofa. It looks new!! Easy also to install (didn’t expect that either) it also keeps the sofa seating cushions all together and it gives a firmness that it didn’t have before. It doesn’t fit 100% perfectly, but it does 99% so... What to say: I have new sofas with little money. Happy. However, within a day it’ll most likely be ruined if you have any type of pet or child. The threads get pulled constantly and in my house, where there is very little foot traffic, it looked like trash within a couple days. Also—-NOT WATER REPELLANT. The water literally just soaks right in the moment it hits the fabric. So good on you guys for false advertising. All in all, if you have only adults and never plan on it being water repellant, it’ll work out fine.
