It is comfortable to use, it holds the file well, and the file itself does a remarkable job. After filing the ends, top dressing, and then re-crowing a couple frets, the ends polished out easily with steel wool. I'd recommend giving it a try. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars good utilitarian tool *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2017* I liked the idea of having the fixed angle, and I liked the size. mine did not come with a "G" burned into any of the surfaces, but otherwise looks like the pictures. The file is a fine file so it takes a very long time to file the cut fret ends down flush. I ended up having to use a medium file to reduce some of the length before this really came in handy, but then it really came in handy. Gave a very professional looking bevel without much work, and without much wear on the file, which looks like a segment of a larger file that was cut and ground to fit this. Which, by the way, is removable, so after one side is worn out you can remove it and flip it and use the other side, and once that side is worn out, you can cut up another file and start over. Can't say I want to use this very often, don't particularly relish doing refret jobs, but when I do use it, i'll be glad I have it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars great with a small flaw *by R***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2019* This file gets the job done on the cheap. My only complaint is that the thin outward edge of the file isn't dulled, so if you slip you may mar your frets. This can be fixed with a grinding stone or a piece of tape though, so it's a good deal considering the price.
