Different 2006 Jettas can have different blade connectors.Nothing fantastic about these blades, but I have not encountered any of the flailing problems other reviewers have had either. Lasted about 23 months with infrequent use in Arizona, with occasional trips through snow in Colorado or rain in Oregon. While in use, I never had a problem with streaking until the last month or two. There wasn't excessive noise, but they weren't silent either.They got an extra star for a) lasting almost two years and, more importantly, b) being the only wiper blades I've found on Amazon that fit my 2006 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T. These are the simple pin types where installing/uninstalling simply requires tilting the blade and putting the blade onto the pin/pulling off from the pin.Unfortunately, Volkswagen had an odd year in 2006. They have same year Jettas that have different windshield wiper connectors. Some 2006 Jettas use a different connector than this. Check which type you have before purchasing these or others. The pictures are the only way I was able to originally tell the difference. I even messed up the first time and bought a popular pair of Bosch wipers that did not fit at all (with me scratching my head the whole time because the Amazon website stated they were compatible with my Jetta).Edit: I left this review as I was ordering my second set of these wipers. This second set has not held up nearly as well as the first set. They lasted about six months, and during that time they did not perform as well as expected. Streaking started occurring very quickly. I now need to buy new wipers, and I am very disappointed with these. Dropped from 4 stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Ok *by D***5 on Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2013* Seemed ok, but recently sold both cars I put them on so I do not know if they would have lasted. I was not happy with how the packaging looked, as well as the system to attach them to the car. The packaging looked like someone may have bought new wipers, cut them out of this package, and cleaned up their old ones to put in the package that was sent to me. I couldn't be sure, so I didn't send them back. They looked new, so I decided to try it. Also, the car (Touareg) I put them on had a plastic piece that hid the mechanism to attach them to the wiper pole. These were designed so that piece would no longer attach. This made it a little less sleek and visually appealing, but not a huge deal.I may try these whipers again, but may not use the same seller. Time will tell. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Run, do not walk, away from these wipers *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2012* These wipers are, without exaggeration or hyperbole, the worst windshield wipers I've ever used in my entire life. I was replacing some mediocre Rain-X wipers, which worked OK, but not great. As soon as I turned on my wipers, they *smeared* the water across my windshield. It wasn't so much as wiping as it was just equally distributing the water across the windshield in opaque sheets. Streaking would have been an improvement. Had this been an night, it would have been impossible to see. I put the old wipers back and and the smearing disappeared instantly.You actually would get better results by strapping a bum to your hood, slathering him in petroleum jelly, and having him wipe the windshield with steel wool when it rains.Very easy to put on, I'll give them that, but that also meant I could remove them just as easily.
