I have ordered it twice so far and will continue to ask my husband for it for special occasions (mother's day, anniversary, birthday). It is tender, sweet, and just a slight garlic like taste. I mostly just eat it out of the container. I have not made a recipe with it. My 4 year old and husband also love it. It is nice to know how much you actually get since it comes peeled. My package arrived way before the date it was due to arrive. I appreciate that organic garlic was used and they explain a bit of the process in a pamphlet that they included with the garlic. I have tried one other brand of black garlic (Melissa's I think) and I didn't like it. It was dry and not as sweet. This garlic is AMAZING and delicious. I know I am getting the real thing. :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No downside to a continuous supply of black garlic *by M***I on Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2018* They are gummier than Trader Joe's black garlic, and I prefer the softer garlic, but Trader Joe's black garlic does not exist any more. Anyway, the gumminess makes them keep longer unpeeled. It is supposed to stay fresh for a year without refrigeration and two years when refrigerated. So far, so good. Not having to peel it makes sweet, yummy black garlic available for a quick addition to anything: omelettes, toast, sandwiches, pasta, salads, and everything else. A pound of garlic lasts a long time. If you love black garlic, you may find yourself eating it every day. I cut the garlic into tiny pieces with poultry shears. If it soaks a while in liquid in the dish in which it is used, the garlic absorbs liquid and gets bigger, softer, and more fragrant. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic black garlic *by S***L on Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2017* I was really bummed when Trader Joe's stopped carrying black garlic...
