I usually go with a brand like REI or Osprey, but wanted to try something a bit different. I'm glad I did. Functionally, this bag has everything I could want. 3 outside pockets of different sizes for easy access to keys, phone, etc. On the inside, my laptop easily fits in the separated compartment, while there is still plenty of room for a change of clothes, chargers, my lunch, and several other items. There is one inside zipper pocket and one velcro pocket, which I appreciate for easy access. There are a couple of internal straps for which I'm still not sure their purpose, but they don't get in the way. I use the bag as a backpack, which I find very comfortable. But the backpack straps do easily tuck in so you can use the bag as a shoulder bag or briefcase.Style-wise, this bag stands out. I've been using the bag for about 2 weeks and I've gotten a ton of compliments. Only thing I might like to see is a second side handle to make it easier to open the main zipper when its full of stuff, but really only a minor issue. To summarize, this is a high-quality, thoughtfully designed bag with a unique style.I'll start with the style. As one can tell from the photos, the bag has a unique style. I like that it has classic elements, and yet is striking and unique. I also like that it has a relatively slim profile, but manages to have a good amount of room to store what I typically carry.I was also impressed by the thoughtful design and quality construction. The team at Saint Maniero clearly put a lot of thought into the design - understanding people's use cases and anticipating the problems typical of backpacks. For instance, I love that the internal pockets have velcro or zip features so that things like business cards, pens, etc. don't spill out into the rest of the bag, but remain easily accessible. It's also worth noting that there are numerous internal pockets, which I find helpful -- but not so many that it becomes bulky or cumbersome -- and there are a few external pockets to store things that should be kept accessible from the outside / that shouldn't be on the interior. I also like that it is designed to work as a backpack or a messenger bag -- and even if you wear it like a backpack, you can load it like a messenger bag, which makes it easier to access the whole bag.I've only had it for a few days now, but I'd note that the construction of the bag feels very solid -- zippers work smoothly, materials feel and look good, there's padding where it needs it.The bag arrived nicely packaged, with high-quality instructional / informational materials that signal the quality of the product and also make this a very nice gift for someone.In conclusion, this seems to be a high-quality, thoughtfully designed bag with a unique style. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great backpack with lots of pockets *by E***A on Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2019* Love this bag! I tried many different backpacks and this is the best bag that fits all my needs.Love the hybrid of backpack and messenger styles. I can either hold my water bottle in the black side zipper pocket in the messenger setting or the front leather covered pocket in backpack setting.
