It comes in two giant boxes, but I got them into the house myself, so they weren't too too heavy (I'm 5'1", 135 lbs). The pieces for the bed were packaged very well, clearly marked and labeled. Once I got all the pieces out of the box and organized, it took me 1 hour and 15 minutes to assemble this bed, unassisted. It really was a breeze to put together, and it is really sturdy! The fabric is high quality, and for the price, it really is a fabulous piece. I was kinda thinking the king sized mattress I used was a tad small - looked like there were about 3" from the headboard to the mattress, but it filled out fine when I made the bed with fluffy linens, pillows, and a comforter. I would definitely recommend this piece.
