I could be wearing them wrong though. I've been putting them on, then straying them. Maybe you aren't supposed to stretch them? I don't know... I just know that after a few minutes of wear, my fingers get tingly, and when I take these off, my fingers look redder, but only up to where the finger covers stopped.Usability-wise, these do exactly what I was hoping they would do. I do plastic model kits as a hobby, and sometimes, you need to use an Xacto knife to carefully trim off nubs from tiny pieces. Due to the size of the pieces and limitations on how to hold them, you pretty much have to carefully pull the blade towards your thumb skin. If you're careful and take your rime, it's no issue. But sometimes, no matter what, something slips and your thumb gets hit by the razer blade. Often times, it too isn't an issue, but every now and then, the blade hits and also slides across the skin, cutting you. Using these finger caps on your thumb helps grip, as well as prevents getting cut. It might not last too many times if it happens, but one hit and slicing the silicone versus your skin is worth it.I've also used these today to mend a leather chair of mine whose seams were starting to seperate. One of these caps on my index and thumb helped me grip the U-shaped needle and pull it through the tough leather. It also helped with needle pokes on my fingertips.Overall, worth it for what I wanted it to do.
