### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Humor, Sarcascm, and a Healthy Dose of Self Awareness
*by E***N on May 25, 2015*

I Regret Nothing is a light, fun, and enjoyable book. For everyone who has read Jen Lancaster, you know a bit of what to expect--humor, honesty, sarcasm, and a healthy degree of self awareness. What I really enjoyed most about the book was the focus on "what comes next?" Jen, like many of us, has lived through her thirties, experienced some difficult times, and has enjoyed some success. So, she has done a lot of things, but not everything, so how do you choose what to do now? Like all of Ms. Lancaster's stories, what ensues is funny, not nape cessation deep, but always relatable. The only part of the book I did not enjoy was the scorn for other Americans vacationing in Rome. I'm sure there were plenty of polite Americans there as well, and it seems a bit mean to pick on this stereotype. (By the way, I travel globally, and people everywhere wear white sneakers, or now, neon colored ones--it's not just an American thing.)Overall, a fun summer read, and a book I enjoyed from an author I faithfully read.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Must Buy For "Old School" Lancaster Fans
*by S***K on June 4, 2015*

I have been disappointed in the last few books Jen has written, but this one has brought me back to being a fan. I think this book has a different tone than her other memoirs - she is a more gentle, less judgemental and mature Jen. I loved her snarkiness in her older books, but I appreciate seeing how her outlook on life has changed with the years. As I am the same age as her, there were several things that I found very relatable, in a way that I didn't in her earlier books (though those are still my favorites!). I especially appreciated her desire to move away from social media. I deleted my Facebook account a few years ago because I felt it had taken over my social interaction with people who did not live around me, and I found the tone to be so negative at times. It was interesting to see her speak of the same things, especially for someone who needs to use it for marketing, etc.I saw several comments saying that she was judgemental of other Americans in Rome. I'm not sure where people are picking up on that. She pokes plenty of fun at herself and Fletch. She's just commenting on what she observed while she was there. While this book won't have you guffawing out loud like Bitter did, it definitely will have you chuckling and smiling while you read. I was hesitant to get this book based on the last few, but am so glad I picked it up.I hope a future memoir will be of her travelling to a developing country (she mentions Botswana in the book). Also, she needs to buy her husband a Kreg Jig. :)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thoughtful, Insightful and Funny
*by T***3 on July 23, 2015*

I've been reading Jen Lancaster's books from the beginning and I'm still along for the ride. In her early books, I found her snarky, judgmental and hysterical. I often read her chapters aloud or tried to since I was laughing so much. Over the years, her books have gotten much less snarky and less out-loud hysterical but that is because Jen herself has grown and matured. It's enjoyable to watch how Jen has changed over the years due to her own life experiences, both good and bad. She is still extremely funny but it's a different type of funny, one that I can appreciate being the same age as Jen and having also matured. There are reviews that say Jen is smug and I can't disagree more. To me, Jen is humble enough to show us all her flaws and shortcomings. Her confidence is inspiring. She lives her life unapologetically and when she feels she is not living her life, she stops to think about why and how to fix it. I'm grateful she shares this with us.
