I have to press button repeatedly before he will stop barking. I have been giving verbal commands at the same time to curb the barking but hasn't changed the behavior. At one point one of our dogs started digging. Either way, when used correctly, this works like a charm. We now have it on us when we let them out and just one squeeze of the button stops ALL dogs (Neighbor dogs included) from their barking and their fence Brawling. I absolutely love it!
