Do they float?** A: No they are hard plastic **Q: Are they plastic or glass** A: Plastic. **Q: Dose anyone know the inside diameter of the 12mm beads ..i have 400lb and 200lbs leader line and dont want them to small?** A: I have purchased them several times while waiting on my big orders to come in from overseas..the hole size on the 10mm beads will work for most #200 mono leader material. As you know the size of the bead hole needs to be at least 3-5mm bigger than the size of your leader line. Most of the hole sizes of Fish Eye Beads on Amazon & eBay are as follows 10mm typically 1.5 to 1.6mm and the 12mm beads usually 2.0mm but varies from manufacturer, I special order mine with larger hole sizes so dirt & sand doesn't get stuck and impede the leader line from moving up and down the trace. (I'm assuming your using them for Redfish, Drum & Shark Rigs) I've been using these beads for over 5 years and I make & sell over 300-500 leaders a week,,most are made from Resin and they are very durable.
