It’s super compact. Where you attach it your legs wouldn’t reach. It even comes with a Velcro strap to secure it on even more to ensure there’s no shake. My bike didn’t have the standard holes where these pumps are intended to go so I just used the Velcro strap alone to attach it on the bike frame below the seat. Although it’s super small, it easily telescopes & handle folds out for use and isn’t at all hard to pump. I was really impressed with this little guy! **Q: How does this work?** A: I was so pleased with how this worked great & easily! You attach it to bike frame with its screws &/or Velcro strap. To use it you just pull it off the bike, extend the telescoping pole, flip up the handle, put the end of the hose on the tire’s valve stem, flip up the lever at the end of the hose (to secure it on the valve stem), & hand pump it til your tire is full. It pumps easily- doesn’t require much strength at all. I filled both tires in less than two minutes. I found it much more comfortable to use than the types of pumps you have to hold down with your foot & hunch over to pump. **Q: I cannot get this to fit my presta tube. What do you have to do to make it fit?** A: I assume you've unscrewed the valve, then pushed the pump firmly down on the valve and then lifted the lever. It should fit - it's designed to fit either schraeder or presta without any additional adjustment. **Q: How do you know how much air to pump without a pressure gauge?** A: You won’t know the exact pressure. But judge by how hard the tire is once inflated.
