But I wanted some with more color,as I now own like 5 very shiny silver sets of ear rings. So I re-painted some of my old dangles, but their wires were corroded. I usually have allergic reactions to silver wires, but so far I have had no problems with these. If they are plated, it seems very well done. Loved the price. Yes, they did take a while to arrive and there is a chance they will get lost in shipping, but for a hobby project I think it was worth the risk.
