**Q: Can this be used on an electric hob?**
A: yes Iv been using this for years.

**Q: Do I need to prepare the pot before first use? If so, what is the best way to do this?**
A: Wash in warm water then place on the stove top and use for your favourite dish.

**Q: Can it be used on an induction hob?**
A: I'm pretty sure induction works on magnetic energy so needs a metal pan, this product is ceramic so I guess can only be used on a gas hob.

**Q: Can you place the lid on the pot hen using the pot in the oven or when using it on an electric or gas stove?**
A: I don’t have a ceramic lid… It only came with the plastic stand/ rest( obviously don’t put that near heat!)
I wouldn’t put lid on as you want the rice to dry not steam so you get crispy bottom.
