When we received the first set, the control box was busted, the screws were strewn throughout the box and the extra pieces were missing. We returned the product and received the replacement product 4 days later (fast service was great). We opened the box and everything looked great. Got the lights out and plugged them in to test them, they were bright and beautiful. We tried the remote, figured out that you do need a battery for the remote (it is not included and is a button battery), put the battery in and tried changing the color...nothing...tried turning them on and off...nothing. Talk about a bummer. Needless to say, I am returning the item and getting a refund.
