What was on offer at Halfords for stem raising where I bought the bike didn't help, neither did the staff suggest such a simple solution, only suggesting how difficult it might be with cable lengths etc..I even bought new handlebars which hardly gave any raise at all. Then I saw this product and couldn't believe how stupid I'd been! Fitted this in under 10 minutes and got an immediate 2" lift; no problem with cables; job done.
